Jesse and Daniel Quinones are a writer/director team from Miami, Florida.
They have lived in London the past 8 years and are now based in South London.They began working together in 2007 where they completed their first two short films: Cage Fighter and Cold Calling.
Cage Fighter, a 15 minute documentary portraying the life of a mixed martial artist in the leading moment up to his next fight, screened in 12 film festival across the world including SKY TV and was nominated for Best Documentary at the International Student Film Festival Hollywood.
Cold Calling, a short comedy depicting the manic world of telesales, screened at 22 film festivals worldwide including Belfast Film Festival, Canary Wharf Film Festival, and Portobello Film Festival. It was winner of Best Comedy at the Indie Short Film Competition and was runner up at the Student Films Across America festival.
It was also nominated for best comedy at the Belfast Film Festival, Limelight Film Awards, and End of the Pier International Film Festival. Jesse is also a playwright and had his first play, Weights, staged at the Blue Elephant Theatre in 2007. He is currently on commission with Soho Theatre.
Daniel is also a photographer and will have an exhibition coming up soon.
